Premium Grade Sod

Canadian Landscape Standard No. 1 Premium Grade

Premium grade turfgrass shall contain only the species and varieties of grasses shown on the supplier’s certificate or sales slip, free of weeds, invasive species, or foreign grass species, including Poa annua.

A high quality lawn solution. Often used for high profile building sites and areas around public entrances to urban and suburban sites. This is the minimum standard for residential and commercial projects. Netted or un-netted available. 

Premium Sod Seed Blend:

• 60% Line Drive II Perennial Ryegrass
• 30% Chantilly Creeping Red Rescue
• 10% Mercury Kentucky Bluegrass  

- A typical full pallet of sod contains 400-500 square feet. 

- A pallets total weight can vary depending on moisture at time of harvest. Expect 1500-2500 lbs per pallet.

- When ordering sod, we suggest adding 5-10% to your total square footage to account for wastage. It's always better to have extra!

- All pallets come shrink wrapped to ensure safe transport and to prevent sod from drying out during transport.

- We do not charge a pallet deposit. Unwanted pallets can be dropped off outside the gate at 5201 Island Highway N, Courtenay.
